TANOS Topsonic Aircraft Noise Suite

As the core of the Noise & Track Monitoring system, TANOS (Topsonic Aircraft Noise suite) is a reliable user interface for management of different data sources.

TANOS has been developed based on our experience with numerous international airport customers, especially for the use in airport environmental departments. Our customer gets a comprehensive standard set for the daily handling of noise, -weather and traffic data.

TANOS is tailored to the needs of modern airports. It´s a clearly structured and fully scalable Windows application providing maximum user-friendliness.

Topsonic Noise Monitoring Terminal

Topsonic noise monitoring terminals have been designed for unattended, continuous operation under different climatic conditions.

Only high quality, long-lasting components with a low energy consumption are used for the terminals.

Besides our stationary monitoring terminals, we can also offer different mobile versions:

-  Microphone on a tripod mast with weatherproof suitcase
   (battery suitcase)
-  Car trailer with battery and telescopic mast
-  Car trailer with solar-and fuel cell

TraVis & WebReporting

TraVis is a public, web-based application developed to improve the dialogue between residents, complainants and airports. It provides transparent data for actual and historical flight movements, including the respective noise events close to the airport. Flight movements and noise data appear on a google map.

As a result, complainants are able to identify the cause of a disturbance themselves. WebReporting provides additional statistics of acoustical measurement and acoustical core sizes as well as relevant traffic data. The application can either operate as a standalone or as a TraVis add-on.

AirportRadar & Albatros

Airport Radar calculates and forwards them to the according airport systems (AODB, flight noise, apron control and ground handling services for example). Several clients are served by Airport Radar interfaces ike aircraft noise and our professional air situation display system ALBATROS which is used by airport ground control. Airport Radar calculates landing times, planned landing times, the used runway and other parameters of flight movement, which serve the process optimization of airports.

Topsonic Complaint Module

To ensure a professional and efficient complaint management, airports need a reliable tool to ease the complaint process, which additionally considers data protection.

Airports receive complaints from different sources as for example via online portal, E-Mail, letter, phone or elsewhere. The complaint module provides the possibility of entering the complaints and to handle them with an intuitive workflow.

The connection to the aircraft noise database allows the automatic correlation between flight traces and noise events with individual complaints.

Topsonic Emissions Module

Emissions and possibilities to reduce them are becoming an increasingly important subject for residents and airports.

In this context, strategies for reducing emission levels on-site have already been implemented.
With Topsonic Emissions Module airport environmental departments can present the effectiveness of their actions for emissions reduction to public.

Furthermore different future scenarios like an increasing traffic volume or changed flight procedures can be estimated by emissions forecast.

Topsonic Data Evaluation Service

As a service for municipalities, institutions and airports the system operation and/or noise evaluation is handled by our experts for noise analysis. They take over the automatic and manual correlation of the noise event to the originator and provide measurement reports.

Construction and industry noise monitoring

Based on our proven modules for air craft noise monitoring, we developed a convincing system for permanent monitoring of random noise sources (like industry, construction- and traffic noise or wind turbines).
