Our aircraft noise monitoring systems make the simple recording and analysis of aircraft noise possible. These systems support our customers in meeting legal requirements (ISO 20906 and DIN 45643) and provide data for public relations. This can be seen, for example, in the improvement of communication with residents and other stakeholders. They also enable the evaluation of modified departure procedures, the noise behaviour of various aircraft types and the effects of noise protection measures taken.
With TANOS, you can reliably manage noise, traffic and weather data. The software was specially developed for the recording and analysis of aircraft noise according to ISO 20906 making it ideally suited for airport environmental departments. Automatic correlation and plausibility assessment of the recorded measured values ensures the highest data quality. The automatic data processing of flight plans, radar data and weather information is especially convenient. The recorded data and the analyses carried out can be easily displayed and output in standardised or individual reports.
To ensure that you are always in control, the system shows the real-time system status of all available measuring stations and interfaces while enabling their remote control. The live display and analysis of flight tracks is possible in 2D and 3D and can be replayed at any time for later assessment. The display of the noise level curve provides a good overview and entry point for detailed observations. Playback of the recorded audio files is possible at any time. Since the system is designed for multiple users, it is ideally suited for teams. The versatile data processing for subsequent applications and the uncomplicated data export also make TANOS a perfect member of the team.
Topsonic noise measuring stations are uncomplicated, durable and low-maintenance. They are designed for unattended continuous operation under a wide range of climatic conditions. Various weather sensors are used in tandem with the Class 1 high-quality acoustic measurement technology. In the standard configuration, wind direction, speed and humidity are recorded. Permanent data transmission takes place over a secure connection. For low-maintenance and reliable outdoor use, we only use high-quality industrial components that are characterised by very low energy consumption and a particularly long service life. This means that downtimes can be reduced to a minimum even under extreme climatic conditions.
The requirements for the location of use are also minimal, as the power supply can be provided by mains, solar panel or fuel cell. Different variants for floor, roof and wall installation also adapt flexibly to local conditions. Convenient handling of the calibration is made possible by means of telescopes or tilt masts. We want to make reliable and uncomplicated acquisition of field data possible under all conditions. To help with this, we also offer trailers for mobile use in addition to the stationary measuring stations.
With the newly developed NOISE COMPASS, the data quality and correlation rate of our measuring stations can be increased even further. That is why we also install an additional "microphone array" alongside the classic microphone. Due to differences in propagation time, the three-dimensional direction and intensity of a noise source can be identified.
This also makes it possible to detect contaminated noise events. The NOISE COMPASS fits into the overall system seamlessly and can be retrofitted to existing systems with a simple mechanical installation.
Environmental noise monitoring is the ideal method for measuring continuous noise at industrial plants, construction sites and traffic routes. The reliable recording of noise levels and the automatic detection of noise level overruns guarantee comfortable and safe use.
Reporting to relevant stakeholders is automatic. Report formats can be adapted to customer and project-specific requirements. We offer hosted or local installation in order to best meet your needs.
