Indira Gandhi international Airport - Delhi

Installation of an aircraft noise measuring system with stationary and mobile measuring stations, reception and processing of ADS-B data and air situation display. Expansion of the measuring system by additional measuring stations in 2022.

Project description

For Delhi Airport, the analyses of aircraft noise and flight tracks has a special significance in two respects. On the one hand, it is an important component of the "Environment Sustainability Management", which consistently influences their business strategy. On the other hand, the airport complies with the international standard ISO 20906 with this system. In this way, we support the environmental department with the standard-compliant analysis of the aircraft noise situation.

Topsonic, as a long-standing partner, has installed a flight measurement system consisting of five stationary measuring stations and a mobile one, which monitor the noise development and flight tracks. An aircraft noise database enables the automatic correlation between flight tracks and noise events. The system will be expanded by three measuring stations in 2022.
