March 2018: Noise monitoring system at Dresden International airport

Dresden International

“Dresden International” airport offers direct connections to major German and European economic centres. Flughafen Dresden GmbH is a subsidiary of “Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding”.

The installed Topsonic aircraft noise monitoring system comprises four stationary measuring points with a permanent secure connection to the central database server. With the Topsonic aircraft noise application processing and output of measured data according to DIN 45643:2011-02 is possible.

For local measurement of the weather information, a meteorology sensor is operated at a measuring point, which detects special weather conditions (eg high wind speeds).

July 2015: Santiago de Chile launches TraVis

Santiago de Chile Airport launches our web based application “TraVis” presenting flight tracks together with aircraft noise, aircraft climb profiles and weather conditions in internet. The application includes the “Calculated Sound Propagation” feature offering the possibility to calculate the current aircraft noise level of a selected flight track at a user-defined, individual position. TraVis Santiago

TraVis supports the dialogue about aircraft noise between residents, complainants and airport environmental department and is operative for major airports in Europe, Asia and now also in South America.
